Dan Hotez

Dan Hotez is an associate for Kayne Anderson’s energy infrastructure strategies, where he is responsible for providing analytical support.

Mr. Hotez started his career at ExxonMobil as a reservoir engineer before moving on to a business development role with the company’s Acquisitions and Divestitures group. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2023, Mr. Hotez was an analyst in the investment banking group at Evercore, where he focused on analyzing and executing mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions within the broader energy sector.

Mr. Hotez earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering, graduating with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2019.
