William L. Thacker

Mr. Thacker is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Copano Energy, L.L.C. and is a member of the Compensation and Nominating and Governance Committees. Mr. Thacker is a member of the Board of Directors of GenOn Energy, Inc. where he serves as Chairman of the Compensation Committee and of KMF and KED. From April 2004 until November 2006 he was also a member of the Board of Directors of Pacific Energy Management, LLC, the general partner of Pacific Energy GP, LP, which was in turn the general partner of Pacific Energy Partners, L.P. He served as Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee of Pacific Energy Management, LLC. Mr. Thacker joined Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC (the general partner of TEPPCO) in September 1992 as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director. He was elected Chief Executive Officer in January 1994. In March 1997, he was named to the additional position of Chairman of the Board, which he held until his retirement in May 2002. Prior to joining Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC, Mr. Thacker was President of Unocal Pipeline Company from 1986 until 1992. Mr. Thacker is past Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association of Oil Pipelines and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Petroleum Institute. Mr. Thacker holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Lamar University. Mr. Thacker has extensive experience in the MLP sector and the energy industry. In addition, Mr. Thacker brings to the Board many years of experience as a board member of several publicly-traded energy companies.
