RYAN SCOTT

Vice President

Mr. Scott is a vice president for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. He is responsible for providing analytical support for the energy investments of Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Company (KYN), Kayne Anderson Energy Total Return Fund (KYE), and Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company (KED).

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2006, Mr. Scott was an analyst in the corporate finance group at Simmons & Company International, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Scott was in the internal audit group at Hewlett-Packard.

Mr. Scott earned a B.S. in Business from Trinity University in 2003.
